Listings are actually owned by the Broker/Office, not the Agent. So, when an agent transfers from one office to another, any currently active listings they entered while they were with their old office stay with that old office- they are not automatically taken with them to their new office.
However, many Brokers will allow the transferring agent to bring their currently active listings with them to their new office. When this is the case, the MLS needs written consent from the agent's old Broker that it is OK to transfer their listings to their new office. The old/previous Broker can send an email to changes@smartmls.com, along with the specific list number(s), giving their consent for the listing transfer to take place.
Until we receive written consent from the old Broker, the agent will not be able to access those listings from their new office.
