Change Sub Property Type on a listing

Matrix will allow you to change the Sub Property Type on a listing.  For example, if you mistakenly enter a listing as a SF Rental when it should be a Multi-Family Rental, you are able to change the Sub Property type field from SF to MU.  This is because the property type of the listing is not changing- it is still a Rental.

Matrix will not allow you to change the Property Type of a listing.  For example, if you enter a listing as SF for Sale but it should be a Multi-Family for Sale, you cannot change that because they are two completely different property types.  In this instance, you will need to re-enter the listing under the correct property type (you can use the Clone functionality to save some work- not all fields will fill in, as some are property type-specific and won't be on the new listing).

If you have saved the listing with the incorrect property type as Active, please let SmartMLS know so we can delete it from the system.  If is is saved as Incomplete, you can delete the INC listing yourself.
