Tax exempt properties

When entering a listing where the property usage (on the tax record) is a tax exempt category, you must enter 0 for the tax amount.  It will still have an assessment, mil rate and tax year, so those fields will have to be filled out properly (you cannot enter 0 for any of those fields).  But, since the property is tax exempt, it is permissible to enter 0 for the tax amount.

The following usages would qualify as tax exempt:

  • County & Municipality Property
  • State Agency Property
  • Charity Property
  • Religious Property
  • Federal Property
  • Other
