Entering tax information on new listing

This article applies to listings that fall into one of the following categories:

  • There is no tax record in Matrix, so you used 999999999 (nine 9s) as the Parcel ID.
  • You used a Parcel ID, but the tax information that populated from the tax record is outdated\incorrect.

If you need to populate or overwrite the information in the tax amount or assessment fields while entering a new listing, make sure that you do not enter any punctuation (dollar signs, commas, periods).  Enter the amounts as whole dollars: round up to the next dollar if the amount ends in 50 cents or more; round down if the amount ends in 49 cents or less.
