Note: Virtual tours must be posted to websites that are open to the public (the site cannot require a login in order to access the video).
You may add a virtual tour to a listing while you are entering it (even before you have saved the listing), or you can do it after you have saved it (as INC, Active or Coming Soon).
If you want to do it while you are initially entering the listing, there is a separate tab for it on the Add/Edit screen:
If you have already saved the listing, go to Add/Edit, select the desired listing and then click the Photographs & Virtual Tours link on the Modify Listing page:
Copy and paste (or type) the URL of the tour into the corresponding tour URL field and click Submit Listing.
There are 4 different fields to choose from:
Free immoviewer standard Virtual Tour- if your Single Family or Condo for Sale listing has at least 3 photos uploaded, an automated video slideshow will automatically be created using the first 15 photos. All you need to do is select Yes in this field.
Primary Virtual Tour URL- if you have hired a virtual tour company to shoot a regular or 3D virtual tour, or you have created your own 3D tour using immoviewer, paste the URL for the unbranded version in this field.*
Additional Virtual Tour URL- allows you to enter a second video or 3D virtual tour. This tour must be unbranded as well.
- Branded Virtual Tour- will not appear in Matrix but can appear on IDX sites (brokerage and agent websites). This tour can show personal/office information.
*As has always been the case, you are only allowed to attach unbranded videos to your listing for use in Matrix. If the video markets anything (mortgage company, moving company, etc.) or anyone (agent, broker, builder, lender, etc.) but the property, it will be taken down from the MLS as a violation.
*** We have adjusted the Rules and Regulations surrounding virtual tours to allow agents to be present in (and narrate) their own virtual tour, provided they do not mention their name or that of their office (or any other branding information). As the list agent, you can be out in front of the camera while conducting a virtual tour, as long as you do not identify yourself or your office, or provide any other branding information. ***
Even though the Branded virtual tours will not display in Matrix, they can display on IDX sites.
