Change the colors on a custom header

You can change the color of the background, text, links, etc. of the headers in Matrix.

Go to My Matrix> My Information 

Click the Header & Footer tab, go down to the Colors section and click Use Custom Colors.

Next to each of the four sections (Branding background, Branding text, Branding link and Banner background) there is a color bar:

Clicking the bar will give you a wheel/triangle tool that allows you to set a color for that particular section.

Click Save when you're done.
