Prevent client from accessing Portal

If you have a client that you have stopped working with and you want to make sure they cannot access their Matrix Portal anymore, just delete the Contact from Matrix.

A Portal cannot exist without a Contact.  Delete the Contact and there is no way for that client to continue to access their Portal.
