Timeout for inactivity (Add/Edit)

There is a built-in timeout feature in Matrix that will end your session if you are inactive for 60 minutes.

You will get a warning message across the top of the screen when you are within 10 minutes of getting kicked out:

 

A common cause of getting timed out is agents spending an extraordinary amount of time writing their Remarks, and getting timed out during the process. 

 

We strongly suggest that you draft your Remarks in a word processor (such as Microsoft Word) before you enter the listing, and then copy & paste them into the Remarks section in Add/Edit. 

We also recommend that you hit Submit Listing anytime you are in Add/Edit and you have to answer the phone or step away from the computer.  It is very easy to get caught up doing something else (something you thought would only take a minute or two) and end up being timed out and losing some of the work you have done.
