As an agent, if you have added yourself to Matrix as a Contact (perhaps for testing purposes), it is not advisable to send yourself Matrix emails to that same address and then forward those emails on to a third party/customer. This is problematic because, in doing so, you are actually forwarding a copy of your own Portal, including all of the previous emails and messages that have gone through it to other customers, to that third party. In addition to the one message you wanted to forward them, they will be able to see all of the other emails you sent to yourself, including those you then forwarded on to other people.
The better alternative here is to set up your recipient as a Contact in Matrix. That way, they will have their own personal Portal and the only messages they will ever see in their Portal would be the ones you specifically send to just them (either manual emails or auto emails). If you want to be in the loop of what they are receiving in their auto email, just BCC yourself on it when you are setting it up. You will get exactly what they are getting and there is no need to send it to yourself first and forward it.
