How do I designate my listing as a horse property?


By definition, a horse or an equestrian property is any real estate property that is zoned for horses. Often, there are a number of deeded restrictions regarding specific uses of the property including deeded community horse trails, the number of horses allowed per lot, set back restrictions, required permits and restrictions on commercial use of the horses. You may want to check with your local Board of Realtors for any additional information regarding the horse property designation as it varies by town.

If the property you are listing is a horse property, you can use the General Information field on the Contract tab in Add/Edit to mark it as such:
