Photos appear discolored in Matrix

If you upload photos to your listing and they appear discolored within Matrix (compared to the original photo file), it could be the result of the original photo file(s) having a resolution that is higher than Matrix will accept.  In these instances, Matrix will compress the file down to a resolution it can use.  However, in doing so, the photo's colors can get compromised.

If this happens, the fix is to resize the photos to our recommended dimensions (1024 x 768) prior to uploading them to Matrix.  That way, Matrix will not compress the file and the colors will not be compromised.

There is a free utility called PixResizer that you can download that, among other things, will allow you to resize the photo prior to uploading it to your listing.

Here are instructions for using PixResizer.

You can also use the Photos app that comes with Windows 10 to resize photos (a link to those instructions are at the bottom of this article).
