Email list agent by clicking on their email address on a listing

Some agent displays in Matrix will show the list/co-list agent's email address.  Depending on how your computer is configured, you may have the ability to open up an email to that agent simply by clicking on their email address.

This is solely dependent on whether or not there is an email client/app properly set up within Windows.  This is not a Matrix setting.

If there is a default email client or app configured in Windows on your PC, when you click on the email address it will open up a blank email (addressed to the agent) within that mail program.  Note: the email will be completely blank- it will not have a subject or message, nor will it reference the listing you were on when you clicked the email address link.  It is up to you to fill out the email.

If there is no default email client configured on the PC, nothing will happen when you click on the email address (or it will generate a Windows error message).  Again, this is not a Matrix error/issue.  The error will let you know there is not an email client configured on the PC.

It is not advisable to set up your personal email account as the default email client on a work/shared computer.
