Update taxes manually (when the MLS has not processed that town's file yet)

If you have a listing in a town whose new tax year information has not yet been processed within Matrix, but you would like to manually update the tax data yourself, please follow these instructions:

Go to the Add/Edit menu and use the Select a Listing drop down menu to choose the desired listing. You can also enter the MLS# (if you know it) in the field to the right of the drop down menu:

After you select the listing, you will see summary information (address, MLS#, price, etc.) at the top of the screen, as well as the primary photo that is on the listing. This summary is there to help make sure you have chosen the correct listing for editing. If you have chosen the wrong listing, just click the Cancel button at the bottom of the screen (don't worry, that will not cancel the listing) and select the correct listing.

Click on the top link underneath Select Form (the link that shows the property type). This will open up the same form that you filled out when you first entered the listing:

Go to the Address tab and enter in the updated tax amount, mil rate and year. If necessary, enter the updated assessment as well.

Click Submit Listing to save these changes.
