Prevent AVM from appearing online

As of June 9, 2021, there is a new field in Matrix that allows you to prevent the Automated Valuation Model (AVM) from appearing on your listing on downstream sites such as brokerage/agent websites.

An AVM is a computer program that uses real estate information, such as demographics, property characteristics, sales prices and price trends to calculate a value for a specific property.

If you have ever viewed a property on a real estate website and saw a price with the words estimate, est., valued at, etc. next to it, you are looking at an AVM.

When you are in the listing in Add/Edit, go to the Additional Info tab.

There is a field called Display AVMs With This Listing (Y/N):

Note: This is an o pt out scenario, meaning the default selection in this field is Yes. If your seller has chosen to not allow the AVM to appear downstream, you must change the selection to No.
