Tax information on 3rd party sites

The tax information that displays in SmartMLS programs is licensed from a data collection and verification company solely for the purposes of displaying within the MLS. SmartMLS does not have the right to share that licensed information to 3rd party sites through our IDX/RETS feed.

Any downstream sites that are displaying tax information are licensing that information independently from the license agreement we have with our tax data vendor. They are not getting it from the SmartMLS RETS/IDX feed, nor does the SmartMLS not have any part in their licensing agreement.

If there is an error on the tax information on a 3rd party site, you must contact the support team for that site to get it corrected. SmartMLS is not involved in that process since we are not the source of the erroneous data.
